Reach Out / Zoom Out

A pair of books which show a collection of photographic pictures put in order through loose associative thinking. starting from the picture which is at the end of the book, a (digital) pile of pictural associations are stacked one over the other, connected through more or less obvious similarities, based on content or form. one digs deeper and deeper until he reaches the starting point of the collection. ZOOM OUT is an observation of the tendency of certain photographers to show parts of the studio installation, or more generally speaking, more than what is usually to be seen on pictures. REACH OUT deals with human's desire to go towards the sky – observed in fields like architecture, religion or other.
